United Arab Emirates, Dubai-: Pai Thai, the award-winning Thai destination in Dubai, invites guests to celebrate one of Thailand’s most visually stunning festivals, Loi Krathong, as they savour a special edition ‘Five Tastes of Thailand’ set menu.

The restaurant transports guests to the heart of Thailand with a unique and authentic gastronomical journey as they watch the serene waterways of Jumeirah Al Qasr light up with their wishes. Known as the ‘Festival of Light’ guests will get the chance to take part in a traditional ceremony as a decorated Abra float through Madinat Jumeirah’s waterways releasing beautiful lotus-shaped hand-crafted lanterns onto the water. Live performances from the DJ, percussionist and roaming Thai performers uplift the evening for an unforgettable night of celebration.

The set menu explores the five key flavours of Thailand – bitter, spicy, sour and sweet, featuring light, aromatic and invigorating dishes bursting with vibrant and aromatic flavours in both vegan and non-vegan options. To start, guests are served the traditional Miang Kham followed by an array of appetisers including Gai Hor Bai Toey (Marinated Chicken wrapped in Pandan Leaves), Thon Mon Goong (Prawn Cake), Jeeb Nok (Vegetable Dumplings) and Som Tam PaiThai (Green Papaya Salad). Mains include Gaeng Khiew Wan Gai, (Green Chicken Curry), Pad Phed Pla (Stir-Fried Seabass in Red Curry Paste), Tao Hoo Phad Kra Prow (Wok Fried Tofu) and Phad Thai Je (Vegetable Thai Noodles).
