Five-star hotel to introduce new all-day dining restaurant and new Benihana Japanese restaurant in Q1 2026 – new themed café currently under soft opening
Dubai : The Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel Dubai, located adjacent to Ibn Battuta Mall and the metro station has announced that it is opening two new restaurants in Q1 2026. Taste, an all-day dining restaurant and the renowned Japanese Steak House, Benihana, in addition to a new themed outlet Nomad Café, that is currently under soft opening.
The 411 room five-star property which is owned by Seven Tides International and operated by Minor Hotels, has reimagined, refurbished and transformed the original hotel café into Nomad Café. The all-day café & lounge, created for the modern urban wanderer, offers a space to work, create, connect and relax. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Nomad’s menu is designed for both quick bites as well as hot and cold drinks, sipped at leisure.
“Nomad has been thoughtfully designed with power outlets throughout, ideal for remote working and casual meetings, while its flexible layout can accommodate up to 100 guests, making it suitable for both individual visitors and small group gatherings,” said Dordije Jabucanin, Director of Sales and Marketing at Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel Dubai.
The hotel is also expanding, refurbishing and rebranding one of its existing restaurants into a new venue named Taste. This expansive all-day dining restaurant, which is expected to open in Q1 next year, will feature a rich diversity of vibrant flavours, chosen from cuisines across the globe. The venue will cover approximately 700 square feet, accommodating 265 in-house guests, or visitors from the local community.
The hotel is also launching a new Benihana restaurant next year. The renowned and extremely popular international Japanese brand will bring its famous interactive Teppanyaki experience, where chefs cook steak, chicken, seafood, and veggies on a grill right at your table, creating dramatic culinary entertainment – an ideal venue for milestone celebrations such as birthdays and anniversaries.
“Once open, these new outlets will complement perfectly our other restaurants such as McGettigan’s Irish Pub and Rodeo Drive our all-American bar and restaurant,” added Jabucanin.
