Muscat-: Known as one of the most elegant restaurant in Muscat, Novikov Café Muscat has revealed two special dishes for Oman’s 54th National Day served for a limited time only between November 18 to 23.  As Oman marks its 54th National Day, the air is filled with excitement and pride for this occasion.

Inspired by the national symbol of Oman, a special dessert “The Khanjar” was curated with details as intricately crafted as The Khanjar’s silver sheath. Complementing the dessert, Novikov Café has crafted an exclusive ravioli dish in the vibrant colours of the Omani flag – red, green, and white. This culinary creation pays homage to Oman while featuring ingredients that embody the essence of Novikov’s menu: tomatoes, basil, and cheese.

Commenting on the new savory dish and dessert, Executive Chef Marco Lubian added: “We are proud to take our guests on a journey along Omani flavors. When you taste “The Khanjar” dessert, expect luscious honey and saffron mousse flavours paired with Omani dates jam all complemented by the artistic presentation of the dish. The ravioli dish was crafted with the Omani flag colors in mind with a vibrant peas velouté, complemented by stracciatella and garnished with crispy cherry tomato chips. A perfect red, green, white delicious mix.”
