A specially curated iftar menu will be served daily at Monno during Ramadan from dusk till 9pm
Experience the essence of Ramadan at artisanal Italian restaurant, Monno located in Jumeirah, where diners are invited to celebrate the breaking of fast with daily iftar.
Presenting guests with a four-course set menu every day during Ramadan, Monno’s Italian iftar experience is served from sunset till 9pm and is priced at AED 150 per person – delivering an authentic taste of Italy.
To begin, guests can break their fast with a choice of soup, including options of tomato and chickpea or mushroom and Parmigiano Reggiano, followed by starters of the iconic Italian meatball with San Marzano tomato sauce, or truffle bomb croquettes.
For mains, whether diners opt for pizza or pasta, Monno keeps it classic Italian with all dough made in-house and shaped by hand – a delight to both taste and smell. Guests can expect options like rigatoni arrabiata that presents a flavourful and lightly spiced tomato sauce, a modern take on the much-loved lasagna, and pizza options of burrata and margherita – both with freshly prepared San Marzano DOP tomato sauce, premium basil and EVOO.
No iftar experience is complete without a sweet finale. Symbolizing abundance, the sacred fruit of Ramadan stars in Monno’s iftar dessert in local dates gelato form served with indulgent panettone prepared French toast-style.
Inside Monno, expect interiors and an ambiance inspired by that of a classic Trattoria found on the back streets of quaint towns in Italy. Designed with rustic simplicity in mind, Monno aims to evoke the feeling of being at home for its guests, creating the idyllic space for family and friends to come together this Ramadan.
Throughout the holy month, Monno will also have a range of sharing-style desserts and canape trays available for pick-up and home delivery. Beautifully presented and perfect for gifting to family and friends, or enjoying with loved ones during iftar at home, Monno’s new dessert and bites trays include options such as indulgent tiramisu and luxurious classic cheesecake, plus Italian buns with ham, chicken Milanese or caprese with mozzarella, tomato and pesto, or croquettes including classic arancini, potato croquette and truffle croquette.
