Monaco Yacht Show Expands to Saudi Arabia with Red Sea Yacht Show 2027
The Monaco Yacht Show is extending its international reach to Saudi Arabia with the launch of the Red Sea Yacht Show, a new luxury yachting event scheduled to take place in Jeddah from 14 to 17 October 2027. Hosted at Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina, the inaugural event will bring together the international yachting community in one of the Red Sea’s emerging luxury travel destinations.
The announcement marks a new chapter for the Monaco Yacht Show, which has spent more than three decades establishing itself as a leading meeting place for superyacht owners, shipyards, brokers and designers. By bringing its industry expertise and international relationships to Saudi Arabia, the show aims to connect the global yachting sector with the Kingdom’s growing ambitions in marine tourism and luxury hospitality.
Monaco Yacht Show Brings Its Expertise to the Red Sea
The Red Sea Yacht Show will build on the Monaco Yacht Show’s established reputation while developing an identity shaped by its Saudi Arabian setting. The initiative reflects growing interest in the Red Sea as a destination for luxury experiences, marine tourism and travel at sea.
The agreement to develop and deliver the inaugural event was signed by Tahaluf and Sela during the Monaco Yacht Show. His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco attended the signing. The agreement followed the Red Sea Yacht Show’s official launch celebration in Monaco on Wednesday, 23 September.
Through this partnership, the organisers intend to bring international yachting expertise together with Saudi creativity, hospitality and destination experiences. The event is designed to appeal not only to yacht owners and prospective buyers but also to the wider network of businesses and professionals involved in luxury travel and maritime experiences.
The new show will draw on the standing of the Monaco Yacht Show while establishing a distinct proposition for visitors and exhibitors in Jeddah.
Red Sea Yacht Show 2027 to Take Place in Jeddah
The Red Sea Yacht Show will be held from 14 to 17 October 2027 at Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina, providing a setting for yacht viewings, industry meetings and curated luxury experiences.
Jeddah’s position on the Red Sea makes it a natural location for an event focused on yachting and high-end marine tourism. The city serves as a gateway to the Kingdom’s Red Sea coastline, which is increasingly associated with destination development and luxury travel opportunities.
The October timing is also intended to align with the international yachting calendar. As the Mediterranean season draws to a close, attention among yacht owners and travellers turns towards destinations suited to the following months. The Red Sea offers a different setting for these journeys, with Jeddah positioned as a starting point for exploring the region.
The organisers aim to create an event that combines the practical needs of the yachting industry with the distinctive experiences associated with a luxury destination.
Superyachts, Luxury Brands and Curated Experiences
The Red Sea Yacht Show will bring together a selection of superyachts, tenders and dayboats alongside businesses and experiences connected with luxury ownership and lifestyle.
The programme is expected to extend beyond yacht displays. Fine jewellery, collectible art, luxury automobiles, exceptional design and cuisine from Michelin-starred chefs will form part of the broader offering.
This combination is intended to create a setting where the yachting industry can engage with adjacent luxury sectors. For owners, prospective buyers and industry professionals, the event will provide opportunities to view vessels while exploring products, services and experiences associated with high-end travel and lifestyle.
The organisers also plan to integrate private receptions, dining and destination encounters into the event. Yacht viewings and professional meetings will sit alongside these experiences, creating a programme designed around both industry engagement and hospitality.
Rather than simply transferring an existing event format to a new location, the Red Sea Yacht Show is intended to reflect the character of its setting while drawing on the Monaco Yacht Show’s industry knowledge.
Tahaluf and Sela Lead the Inaugural Event
Tahaluf and Sela will develop and deliver the first edition of the Red Sea Yacht Show, combining event expertise with destination-focused experience.
Mike Champion, CEO of Tahaluf, highlighted the significance of the Monaco Yacht Show’s decision to extend its presence to Saudi Arabia.
“Monaco Yacht Show has earned an extraordinary place in the yachting world,” Champion said, noting the opportunity to combine its international authority with Saudi creativity and hospitality.
He added that the ambition is to build a show that reflects the quality of the yachts, the destination and the people expected to attend.
Eng. Amer Hussain Daggag, Destinations General Manager at Sela, highlighted the role of Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina as the event’s setting. He said the partnership offers an opportunity to welcome the international yachting community to Jeddah and introduce visitors to experiences that distinguish the Red Sea.
Sela’s involvement also connects the event with Saudi Arabia’s wider marine tourism ambitions. According to Daggag, the organisers aim to create an occasion that reflects both the destination’s quality and the Kingdom’s aspirations for its marine tourism sector.
A New Platform for Saudi Arabia’s Luxury Marine Tourism
The launch of the Red Sea Yacht Show introduces a new international event to Saudi Arabia’s luxury travel and hospitality landscape. By attracting yacht owners, prospective buyers, shipyards, brokers and designers, the show aims to create a meeting point for professionals shaping the future of luxury travel at sea.
Its wider lifestyle programme may also provide opportunities for businesses operating in related sectors, including design, art, jewellery, automotive luxury and fine dining. Bringing these categories together with yacht displays and industry meetings gives the event a broader focus than a conventional vessel exhibition.
For Jeddah, hosting the show places the city at the centre of a new initiative aimed at connecting international yachting networks with the Red Sea. The destination’s role as a gateway to the coastline will be an important part of the event’s positioning.
The show also arrives as Saudi Arabia continues to develop its tourism offering and build international awareness of its coastal destinations. The organisers’ ambition is to use the event to introduce visitors to the region while providing a dedicated setting for business relationships and luxury experiences.
The Red Sea Yacht Show is powered by the Monaco Yacht Show and supported by BOAT International. Its inaugural edition is scheduled for 14–17 October 2027 at Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina.
With the experience of the Monaco Yacht Show behind it and a setting on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast, the new event aims to establish a distinctive place on the international yachting calendar.
