Abu Dhabi, UAE – Hakkasan Abu Dhabi, the renowned Michelin-starred icon of modern Cantonese cuisine, is proud to announce a rare gastronomic collaboration between Tala Bashmi, Chef Patron of Fusions By Tala, and Hakkasan Abu Dhabi’s Executive Chef, Andrew Lee. Together, these culinary masterminds will showcase their respective specialities at this exclusive four-hands dinner, culminating in a fusion of flavours, skill, and flair. Set against the backdrop of the iconic Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, this remarkable evening of cultural fusion is set to be held on the 30th of September, priced at 688 AED per person. 

For one night only, this extraordinary chef collaboration features a seven-course menu; including Chef Lee’s Peking duck and Chef Tala Bashmi’s perfectly balanced Bamia. With this exciting dining event, guests can expect flavours that showcase the mastery of Cantonese cuisine and the invigorating Middle Eastern flair. 

 Recognized as MENA’s Best Female Chef in 2022 and currently ranked #3 in the 2023 MENA 50 Best rankings, Chef Bashmi brings a contemporary twist to traditional Middle Eastern cuisine. Revered as the Voice of Modern Bahraini Cuisine, she skillfully reimagines classic dishes, drawing inspiration from local markets, art, and ancient manuscripts. Chef Bashmi’s belief in the unifying essence of food perfectly complements the collaborative spirit of the event, enhancing this extraordinary dining experience. At the four-hands dinner, she masterfully interprets Bahraini culinary heritage, harmonising it with Hakkasan’s Cantonese artistry, resulting in an exquisite fusion of flavours that promises to captivate palates.
