Dubai, United Arab Emirates – Mauritius, the tropical paradise nestled in the Indian Ocean, is set to captivate the Middle Eastern travel market as it proudly announces its participation in the renowned Arabian Travel Market (ATM). The annual event, which is set to take place from May 1st – 4th, 2023 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, is the leading travel and tourism exhibition in the Middle East, attracting industry professionals, buyers, and visitors from around the globe.

With its white sandy beaches, turquoise waters, lush green mountains, and vibrant culture, Mauritius has long been a sought-after destination for travelers seeking a tropical getaway. The island nation’s participation in ATM presents a unique opportunity for tourism stakeholders from Mauritius to connect with industry professionals, tour operators, travel agents, and potential tourists from around the world and promote Mauritius as a dream destination for leisure, business, and adventure travelers alike.

Mr. Arvind Bundhun, Director of Mauritius Tourism Promotion Authority, states, “We are thrilled to be part of the Arabian Travel Market this year. Mauritius has long been a sought-after destination for travelers from around the world, including the Middle East. We look forward to promoting our world-class tourism offerings, sustainable practices, and legendary hospitality at the event.

Mauritius has a wide range of tourism offerings that cater to diverse interests, making it an attractive destination for Middle Eastern travelers. The island is known for its luxurious beach resorts, offering an idyllic retreat for honeymooners, families, and leisure travelers. Mauritius is also a haven for water sports enthusiasts, with its crystal-clear waters providing opportunities for snorkeling, diving, fishing, and more. The island’s unique cultural heritage, with influences from India, Africa, China, and Europe, offers a fascinating blend of traditions, music, and cuisine that appeals to culture seekers. Additionally, Mauritius boasts pristine nature reserves, including UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Mauritius has a strong focus on sustainable tourism, with efforts to protect its delicate ecosystems and preserve its unique cultural heritage.
