Award-winning of Marketing leader Middle East & Africa, Jumeirah, has welcomed Manal Hashem as director of marketing for Jumeirah’s first property to open in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Manal brings a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise to her role, with over 13 years of hospitality leadership roles in Saudi. Most recently, Manal served as the director of marketing for The Venue Jeddah Corniche Hotel. She has also served as marketing manager for KSA western region with Marriott international group, where she successfully facilitated the opening of a several hotels, Courtyard, Residence Inn Jazan and Jabal Omar Makkah Marriott. She joined Hyatt and was part of the opening of Jabal Omar Hyatt Makkah Hyatt first branded hotel in Makkah, and first Hyatt Regency brand in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia developed the marketing plan and that introduced the brand and hotel offerings to the market. In her new role, Manal is responsible for leading the marketing team, overseeing integrated marketing and public relations campaigns for hotel rooms, restaurants and overall facilities.

Jabal Omar Jumeirah is one of the biggest Jumeirah hotels to date, the property will be spread across four towers, have a multitude of food and beverage venues, more than 90 retail stores, a gym, executive lounge and meeting facilities.

The hotel will have 1,033 keys, including 96 apartments and four penthouses. The hotel will boast views of the Grand Mosque upon opening as well.
