Limited Tickets Remain For Opening Weekend!
Abu Dhabi, UAE –-: The Tony®, Grammy®, Olivier and Pulitzer Prize winning Broadway production HAMILTON will make its Middle East debut at Yas Island’s Etihad Arena in less than a week for a strictly limited season from January 17 to February 11, 2024.
HAMILTON’s Abu Dhabi premiere has experienced such overwhelming demand that tickets for the opening weekend are now at a limited capacity. Tickets are available from Etihadarena.ae and Platinumlist.net, with additional bronze category tickets now released across various performances.
HAMILTON premiered on Broadway in August 2015 to wide critical and audience acclaim and has gone on to play seasons in London’s West End, Australia, Germany and as part of the production’s first ever international tour, premiering in New Zealand and the Philippines before it arrives to debut in Abu Dhabi this month.
Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, HAMILTON has taken the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton and created a revolutionary moment in theatre – a musical that has had a profound impact on culture, politics and education.
With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, HAMILTON is based on Ron Chernow’s acclaimed biography and is the story of America then told by America now.
Lin-Manuel Miranda’s global phenomenon has been captivating fans across the world since it burst to life in 2015 and has received an array of accolades including 11 Tony Awards®, seven Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the 2016 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album.
