KORAIL has launched KORAIL PASS+, or KORAIL PASS PLUS, for international travelers. It integrates the existing KORAIL PASS, which allows travel on KORAIL trains, with transportation card features for taking subways and buses, making travel across Korea more convenient with a single card.
The original KORAIL PASS offers travel on KTX and other KORAIL trains freely during the selected pass period and can be purchased through the KORAIL website or at train stations. Travelers can add the transportation card function to their KORAIL PASS for an additional 8,000 won by entering the KORAIL PASS number on the KORAIL PASS+ website. Once topped up, the card can be used on subways and buses, as well as for payments at offline stores.
KORAIL PASS+ cards are available for purchase at designated NAMANE Card kiosks located at Incheon International Airport and major KTX stations, including Seoul Station, Yongsan Station, and Busan Station, and can be used immediately after purchase. The card design, featuring the Taegeuk motif, serves as a memorable keepsake of one’s Korail journey in Korea
