New Watch & Jewellery show announces inaugural edition in November
Saudi Arabia is set to become home to a new watch & jewellery event when Jewels of the World makes its debut in the capital next month. From 3rd-6th November, visitors can delve into the intricacies of the jewellery and watchmaking world, uncovering creations from an array of celebrated brands and independent designers from all over the world.
Taking place in the Grand Hall of Hilton Riyadh Hotel and Residences, conveniently located away from the hustle and bustle of the city yet moments away from its heart, Jewels of the World will become not only a stage for some of the world’s finest jewels, but a meeting point for discerning watch and jewellery collectors, industry professionals and regional trendsetters.
Sixty revered maisons hailing from as far as Italy, Hong Kong, UK and the US, and as close as Bahrain, UAE, Qatar, Egypt and homegrown in Saudi Arabia will be showcasing a curated collection of their most sought-after pieces – many of which are being shown for the first time in the Middle East. From bespoke ateliers and high jewellers to regional powerhouses and emerging talents, Jewels of the World exhibitors have been honing their craft for centuries.
Diamonds, emeralds, rubies and other precious gemstones will be showcased, both loose and exquisitely set, alongside traditional masterpieces, contemporary interpretations of long-forgotten arts, innovative fine jewellery and show-stopping timepieces. Ensuring a seamless shopping experience, all will be available for on-the-spot purchase.
Set to become an annual show, Jewels of the World is the only event of its kind to take place during the highly anticipated Riyadh Season, a six-month celebration of entertainment and culture that transforms the capital. It coincides with wedding season, and debuts at a time when the luxury industry is growing in Saudi Arabia and consumer spending is on the rise.
Jewels of the World will be open to the public from 3rd-6th November. An internationally recognized laboratory and team of qualified jewellery experts and gemmologists will offer complimentary authentication on site. The event is sponsored by Lucid Motors and American Express.
