Jeddah : His Highness Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, Governor of Jeddah, inaugurated the first Family Forum of 2026 today at the Governorate headquarters, representing His Royal Highness Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region.

Organized by the Reconciliation and Family Development Association in collaboration with the Family Knowledge Company, the forum is set to take place on Friday evening, February 20, 2026, at Laylati Hall in Jeddah.

During the inauguration, Prince Saud was presented with an overview of the forum’s goals, themes, and programs, which aim to strengthen the stability of Saudi families. The initiatives focus on fostering collaboration among government, non-profit, and private sectors while developing sustainable models that enhance family awareness and social development, aligned with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives.

The forum is expected to attract over 1,000 participants, including specialists and individuals interested in family affairs. It will feature more than 20 speakers and experts from family, education, and social development sectors, alongside representation from over 30 non-profit organizations, 15 governmental and private entities, and specialized family counseling centers.

The “First Family Forum 2026” will host dialogue sessions, knowledge-sharing meetings, and several notable initiatives, including the launch of a digital platform for the family community, the “Knowledgeable Family Award,” and the announcement of an endowment fund and the “100 Family Endowments” initiative. Furthermore, development agreements and partnerships will be signed among participating entities.

The forum aims to generate practical recommendations that will enhance the family work system, strengthen institutional partnerships, and build sustainable knowledge and development initiatives that support Saudi families, reinforcing their role as the foundation for a cohesive and stable society.
