Riyadh : Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya is pleased to announce the appointment of Ben Wozny as its new General Manager. A German national and accomplished hospitality executive, Wozny brings more than 25 years of international experience with Hyatt Hotels Corporation, distinguished by operational excellence, strategic leadership, and a strong track record in driving transformation across global markets.
Wozny began his Hyatt career in 2000 within the Rooms Division at Grand Hyatt Berlin. Over the years, he has built an extensive international portfolio, holding senior leadership positions across Germany, South Korea, Azerbaijan, Switzerland, the Netherlands, the United States, and Jordan. His career highlights include roles such as Cluster Director of Rooms at Park Hyatt Baku and Hyatt Regency Baku, Director of Rooms at Park Hyatt Seoul, Executive Assistant Manager at Park Hyatt Zurich, Hotel Manager at Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht, and most recently, General Manager of Grand Hyatt Amman.
Prior to relocating to the Middle East, Wozny was based in Chicago, where he served as Hyatt’s Operations Lead for Digital Transformation. In this capacity, he led large-scale digital initiatives across 35 global locations, strengthening alignment between corporate and hotel operations, optimizing operational processes, and supporting innovative pilot projects that enhanced guest experiences and contributed to Hyatt’s broader digital evolution.
In his new role, Wozny will lead the 257-key Hyatt Regency Riyadh Olaya, a luxury destination renowned for its prime location and exceptional service standards. His leadership approach emphasizes empowering people, fostering transformation, and implementing effective change management within the luxury and lifestyle hospitality sector.
Deeply committed to developing future hospitality leaders and supporting initiatives that positively impact local communities, Wozny aims to play an active role in advancing both the hotel’s continued success and the wider hospitality landscape in Saudi Arabia. Fluent in English and German, he remains closely engaged with Hyatt’s global innovation initiatives.
