During a speech delivered by the Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization; He congratulated the Kingdom on this great achievement, and the value of what the tourism sector in the Kingdom offers to the growth and development of global tourism.
The Saudi tourism sector has achieved a complete recovery since the global pandemic, with a growth of 56% in the number of international arrivals during the year 2023, compared to 2019, which is the highest among the G20 countries, and the increase during the previous year 2023 was driven by a growth equivalent to 65% in international visits with… Nearly 11 million inbound visits compared to 2022, with more than 100 billion Saudi riyals recorded in international tourist visitor spending.
