Riyadh – -: The National Events Center works to enhance events held in the Kingdom by applying the highest standards and best practices followed in the events sector worldwide, by identifying requirements and ensuring compliance with them, so that visitor experience management comes within those great efforts of the center.

The visitor experience management aims to develop, establish and supervise visitor experience standards; which consist of the visitor journey and measuring visitor satisfaction; as it contributes to creating and enriching an integrated experience for the visitor in major seasons and events, as well as approving all visitor experience plans that consist of the visitor journey and measuring his satisfaction, according to the standards for the visitor experience at the National Events Center.

The National Events Center seeks to develop controls and standards for the visitor experience in events and seasons, and supervise the implementing and relevant entities to implement those standards while supervising and evaluating all visitor journey plans and their components and all visitor satisfaction measurement plans and their components; according to visitor experience standards.

The visitor experience supports the National Events Center in any work related to the visitor experience, by providing the necessary support upon request to the implementing and relevant entities in visitor experience plans; where the pilot launch of the Visitor Journey Design Standards Booklet for Events was held in August 2023, during which time 11 relevant entities were directed to the booklet, and compliance and quality standards were applied for visitor comfort in 13 events, as well as developing 76 compliance and quality standards.

There are many objectives of the Visitor Journey Design Standards Booklet for Events; including unifying quality standards in all events in the Kingdom, as it targets those responsible for planning and designing the visitor journey in events, and works to educate the entities responsible for holding events about the strategies that should be applied to visitors’ journeys and experiences, and providing tools, models, standards and principles; based on best practices for designing visitor journey experiences, as well as enabling the responsible entities to design and implement enjoyable personal experiences for visitors
