Riyadh – -: The Elite Chefs Center organized a graduation ceremony for the first batch of the “Pioneers of Chefs” program, which included 14 trainees who learned the arts of cooking, with the support of the Cultural Fund to train 36 trainees during the program period.
The CEO of the “Elite Chefs” Center, Abdulrahman Al-Hadeef, said: “The idea of the Pioneers of Chefs program is based on training in the arts of cooking for 60 hours, as well as training in entrepreneurship in the field of food and beverages for another 60 hours, then field training for a month in one of the five-star hotels in Riyadh. The second batch of the program is currently being trained, and soon, God willing, registration for the third batch will be announced.” For his part, Executive Chef Basil Al Shammari, General Supervisor of the program, explained that the ceremony expresses the success story of young women who had a passion, dream and ambition to become qualified chefs, and their ambitions were fulfilled and they graduated today, and then they will continue to achieve their dreams, God willing. For her part, Arej Al Jahf, one of the graduates of the “Pioneers of Chefs” program, expressed her pride and gratitude for graduating from the program, saying: “This training journey was full of challenges and opportunities, and I learned a lot about the arts of cooking and entrepreneurship. Now, I feel ready to achieve more in the field of cooking, and I aspire to develop special recipes that reflect the rich Saudi heritage, and I look forward to presenting them to the local and global market.” Noura Madani, one of the graduates of the “Pioneers of Chefs” program, expressed her happiness with the training experience, saying: “The experience was comprehensive from the beginning of practical and theoretical education at the center, all the way to field training at the Ritz Carlton Hotel. I learned a lot and benefited from every moment I spent in the program. Now, I feel more confident after mastering the basics of the culinary arts, and I look forward to investing what I have learned in my professional career.’
For her part, Raghad Al-Sulaiman expressed her overwhelming joy at graduating from the “Pioneers of Chefs” program, and said: “The most wonderful thing is that my dream has come true. I had always wanted to learn the art of cooking, and I was limited to self-learning at home, but the dream became a reality after I learned in the program and trained under a professional chef.”
For her part, graduate Amani Sharahili said: “I feel that I have developed a lot through the learning experience in the “Pioneers of Chefs” program, and I look forward to achieving a bigger step in the field of cooking.” It is noteworthy that the names of the graduates in the first batch of the “Pioneers of Chefs” program are: Arej Ahmed Al-Jahf, Hessa Al-Amer, Huda Mahmoud Khan, Nouf Abdul Mohsen Al-Abdul Rahman, Afnan Khalil Al-Habashi, Amani Mufreh Sharahili, Naseeba Mohammed Falatah, Noura Ahmed Madani, and Kafa Ahmed Al-Dali.
