Citywide celebrations feature A-list musical acts, spectacular ice shows, top-tier competitions, and unique experiences for all ages

 From electrifying DJ sets and Khaleeji music nights to high-energy basketball games, Dubai promises an unforgettable Eid Al Fitr filled with endless excitement

 

Dubai, United Arab Emirate-: The city’s entertainment scene promises thrilling celebrations for residents and visitors this week. As part of the Eid in Dubai campaign organised by Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, in collaboration with government, semi-government and private sector partners, Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE) has planned an incredible line-up of concerts, live shows, and sporting spectacles across the city until 6 April.

There’s something for everyone to enjoy this festive season from world-class performances, A-list concerts, and thrilling ice shows to high-energy sporting events and top-tier competitions.

LIVE CONCERTS

Dubai’s music scene lights up with an exciting mix of regional superstars. On 3 April, Egyptian rap sensation Marwan Pablo takes over Ain Dubai Plaza, Bluewaters Island with his hard-hitting beats. On 4 April, the not-to-be-missed Jalasat Moments live concert, showcases the finest in Khaleeji music at Ain Dubai Plaza on Bluewaters Island, featuring Abadi Al Johar, Fouad Abdulwahed, and Asel Hameem. On 5 April, Moein makes his highly anticipated debut at Coca-Cola Arena, where fans can experience his greatest hits.

GLOBAL ARTISTS

For fans of electronic and house music, FIVE LUXE, JBR is set to host DJ Black Coffee on 3 April, promising an electrifying night. The energy continues at Zabeel Theatre on 4 April with Aria, making their Dubai debut in a powerful metal showcase. Russian pop icon Dima Bilan takes to the stage at The Agenda, Dubai Media City on 4 April.  On 5 April, AfroLOUD Festival heads to Ain Dubai Plaza on Bluewaters Island with an all-day celebration of Afrobeats and Amapiano featuring live acts, top DJs, and gourmet food stalls. Meanwhile, the desert comes alive as Adriatique takes over Terra Solis on 5 April, blending hypnotic deep house music with the serene surroundings.

Adding to the city’s rich cultural calendar, the InClassica International Music Festival returns for its 14th edition, featuring the renowned Roman Kim, Franz Schubert Filharmonia, John Warner, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Andrea Battistonion, and Giuseppe Gibbon on the Dubai Opera stage on 6 and 7 April.

THEATRICAL PERFORMANCES

A magical world of theatrical performances awaits audiences of all ages. Ice skating takes center stage at Coca-Cola Arena with two spectacular productions: Frozen Love on 1 April and Snow Queen on 2 April. Ballet lovers can enjoy the spellbinding A Thousand Tales at Dubai Opera on 4 and 5 April. Zabeel Theatre at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray hosts two breathtaking ballet performances on 5 April – Stars of Russian Ballet, an evening with world-class dancers; and Magic (Fairytales) of Russian Ballet, a family-friendly showcase of classics like The Nutcracker and Sleeping Beauty.

Comedy fans can look forward to Max Amini, bringing his signature humor to Dubai Opera on 2 April, with tickets from AED 395. Adding a thrilling twist to the line-up, All That Glitters – A Murder Mystery takes over the Queen Elizabeth 2 hotel on 5 April.

SPORTING SPECTACLES

Dubai’s sporting scene is equally thrilling this Eid, headlined by the Dubai World Cup taking place on 5 April at Meydan Racecourse. Basketball fans can witness an intense matchup between Dubai Basketball and KK Zadar at Coca-Cola Arena on 6 April. Meanwhile, polo enthusiasts can enjoy the elegance of the Polo Masters Cup at Al Habtoor Polo Resort from 1 to 5 April. For fight fans, history will be made with the Middle East debut of Bare-Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) at Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Stadium on 4 and 5 April. Adding a unique twist to the sporting line-up, dog owners and their furry companions can team up for the Paw Power Run at Expo City on 5 April, a 2.5km obstacle course built for fun and teamwork.

With so many exciting events across the city, Eid in Dubai promises to be an unforgettable celebration of music, culture, and sport.
