The annual event by Flat12 will be back for its third year at Safa Park
Dubai- Next weekend sees the return of The Grand Picnic – Dubai’s biggest picnic – an annual event organised by Flat12 dedicated to a day of cars, food, coffee, and community. Last year saw over 8000 people and 1700 classic and rare sports cars, trucks, and motorcycles take over one of Dubai’s oldest parks.
Now in its third year, the family-friendly event will be for the first time encouraging car owners to dress as per the era of their car – whilst non car visitors can choose any era. Hungry guests can bring their own picnic spread or look forward to sampling six different food vendors including a pop-up of the Flat12 Cafe, Ugly Noodles, Ice Kream, Double Patty, Lit Pizza and My Pekoe.
Flat12 co-founder, Mohammed Abdulla Al Sahlawi commented, “We are very excited to be hosting our third event and its set to be our biggest – interest for registering vehicles this year has been overwhelming! If it’s your first time attending, you can expect to see up close some of the rarest cars and bikes in the GCC, not your usual everyday cars on the road! It’s a great day out for everyone – from car collectors, motorheads, groups of friends and families.”
The Grand Picnic will be held on Sunday 22nd January from 10am to 6pm / Safa Park
Entry to the event is free, entry to Safa park is Dhs3 / Free entry for registered cars
