Dubai-: DoubleTree by Hilton Resort & Spa Marjan Island recently hosted the top 10 contestants of the ‘Miss Czech Republic’ pageant for a week. In preparation of the real event, the finalists resided at the stunning beach front Bay Club rooms whilst having their photoshoots and video shoots on the 650-meter private beach against the glistening waters of the Arabian Gulf and the expansive indoor and outdoor pools.
Apart from all the behind-the-scenes competition work, the contestants also enjoyed a bit of me time at the expansive beachfront property and indulged in a wide range of gourmet cuisines at the property’s 13 restaurants and bars including Meze for an authentic Turkish experience, Sanchaya for flavors from Asia, Vespa for an Italian touch, and Brasserie for classic European cuisine along with the award-winning Islander’s Brunch.
Miss Czech Republic is a Czech national beauty pageant wherein the winner represents the country at the prominent Miss World platform. Miss Czech Republic was launched in 2010, previously known as Miss Face Czech Republic, and hundreds of young women apply each year, with only ten contenders chosen to fight for the title. This year the finals and crowning ceremony is yet to be announced.
