Embracing 5 pillars of kindness, the limited-edition calendar is designed to inspire acts of goodwill in children from a young age
This Ramadan, Deliveroo has joined hands with The Family Hub to promote the values of kindness and compassion. Launched by experienced and certified positive discipline educator, Hanan Ezzeldin, the Family Hub is an educational platform that supports families in positive parenting through courses, workshops, educational products, and community events. Through the launch of the exclusive Kindness Calendar, Deliveroo and The Family Hub are offering a daily program which is not just a fun activity for families, but also a guide to teaching children the 5 pillars of kindness that are at the heart of the season. The Kindness Calendar is now available for purchase through the Deliveroo app and The Family Hub portal, until limited stocks last.
Encouraging children to perform good deeds every day, the 30-day calendar features a pocket for every day of the month and contains 50 unique cards referring to various acts of goodwill. Following the 5 pillars of kindness, including showing kindness to self, to family, to friends, to their school as well as to the wider community, the cards present children with easy tasks to complete on a daily basis. From sharing a toy, watering a plant, completing a chore, writing a thank-you note to a delivery rider and occasionally letting children choose a selfless act of kindness, the calendar aims to teach and instil good habits from an early age. Available in both English and Arabic, the daily tasks have been designed to encourage children to carry out an act of kindness and build a habit which they can continue to practice throughout the year. The calendar also provides an opportunity for parents and their children to engage in meaningful conversations about the true spirit of giving. Available for purchase on the Deliveroo app and through The Family Hub portal, the Kindness Calendar is priced at only AED 110 and includes a calendar, pouch, 50 cards, and a certificate for the children.
Speaking about the collaboration, Hanan Ezzeldin, Founder of The Family Hub said, “We are excited to launch the Kindness Calendar in partnership with Deliveroo UAE. The month of Ramadan reminds us of all the things we should be grateful for and we can’t think of a better occasion to teach the principles of gratitude and generosity to children.”
Taghrid Oraibi, Head of Communications at Deliveroo Middle East added, ‘The UAE has become a hub for families to raise their children. We are proud to be joining The Family Hub Community to expand its reach and support parents to instill habits of kindness in their children from a young age. We are humbled to be able to use our platform and network of riders for a cause such as shaping the future of our children.’
Through the Kindness Calendar, Deliveroo and The Family Hub are keen on spreading the values of empathy and generosity one little act at a time!
