Mauritius : Constance Hospitality is pleased to announce the appointment of Gabriel Juneau as General Manager of Constance Le Chaland, its new luxury address on the south-east coast of Mauritius. This appointment marks an important milestone in the hotel’s transition under the Constance Hotels & Resorts brand, effective 5 February 2026. In this new phase, Gabriel will work closely with the teams to embed Constance Hotels & Resorts standards and service culture, while preserving the hotel’s unique identity.
With over 15 years of international experience across Canada, China, the UAE, Madagascar and the Seychelles, Gabriel Juneau brings a strong combination of operational discipline, people leadership and guest-experience excellence. Prior to his appointment at Constance Le Chaland, he served as Hotel Manager at Constance Lemuria Seychelles, overseeing the operational division of one of the brand’s flagship resorts. He previously held the role of Resort Manager at Constance Tsarabanjina Madagascar, where he successfully led a remote island resort, achieving outstanding guest satisfaction scores, and strong employee engagement.
As the hotel enters this new chapter, Constance Hospitality will progressively bring to life its distinctive Constance DNA – an Art de Vivre defined by warm, natural luxury, genuine service, attention to detail and a strong sense of place.
Conceived as a natural sanctuary, Constance Le Chaland blends gently into its surroundings and invites guests to reconnect through nature, refined gastronomy, wine culture and holistic wellbeing, in a beautiful setting. The integration of Constance’s DNA will support the hotel’s ambition to position itself among the new benchmarks of luxury hospitality in Mauritius.
“Constance Le Chaland is a rare place, a sanctuary shaped by nature. My priority will be to work closely with the teams throughout this transition, to protect the essence of the site and bring to life Constance’s Art de Vivre through service that feels natural, attentive and experiences centered on authentic immersion, art of food & wine, and wellbeing,” says Gabriel Juneau.
