From Tuesday 25th to Saturday 29th April, the renowned chef from Tokyo will be headlining an authentic Omakase dining experience at the restaurant, bringing his culinary expertise to CLAP Dubai for a limited time only!
Clap Dubai is well-known for its unique redefined Japanese dining experience, which combines authenticity with innovation. This exclusive Omakase experience will take it to the next level, providing customers with the opportunity to taste Chef Mamoru’s world-class cuisine, bringing a genuine taste of Tokyo to the city!
The two-hour dining experience will consist of 18 courses of food, expertly curated by Chef Mamoru, and a five-course Sake pairing experience.

Chef Mamoru has an extensive background story that dates back to his childhood. From a young age, he looked up to Sushi Masters and dreamt of becoming one himself. He trained for six years as a sushi chef at the famous Prince Hotel Group and later became a sushi chef under Michelin sushi master Shinji Kanesaka for seven years. Currently, he is the Executive Sushi Chef at Sushi-ya, a branch of Ginza Kanesaka, and he will be opening his own sushi restaurant soon, Sushi MAMORU, in May 2023, with the aim of receiving a Michelin star for his restaurant!
