From Tuesday 18th June until Tuesday 25th June, sushi fans can experience an exclusive set menu featuring the venue’s best sellers for just AED 150 per person

Dubai, United Arab Emirates-: Kokoro, the UAE’s first handroll bar nestled within Alserkal Avenue, will be celebrating International Sushi Day (18th June) with a specially curated menu featuring its top selling dishes. For one week only, guests will be able to sample three handrolls and sashimi, for just AED 150; featuring flavour and flair with each bite the menu includes the Spicy Sake (salmon) Handroll, Spicy Kanpachi (amber jack) Handroll, Spicy Tuna Handroll, and Sake (salmon) Sashimi.

Having become a viral sensation, Kokoro is a sushi lover’s destination that offers high-quality food at an affordable price, with unique textures and flavours in every bite. In addition to the International Sushi Day week-long set menu, the team has recently introduced new dishes to its already moreish menu, which now features A5 wagyu handrolls as well as a sake handroll dressed in a special sauce. For all the bluefin tuna lovers, prayers have been answered; with its Crudo Maguro dish becoming one of the best-selling items, the team at Kokoro has introduced an upgrade option, including Chutoro to Otoro.

Kokoro, which translates to ‘heart’ in English, offers diners an intimate experience, giving guests the opportunity to get up close and personal with the master’s behind the bar. Everything on the menu is made fresh to order, with the talented chefs slicing, spicing, and serving a variety of sushi and handroll dishes live. Committed to using only the finest ingredients, every bite of the Kokoro menu, regardless of the texture or flavour, offers a sense of culinary excellence.

The 44-seater venue, which features 18 stools wrapped around the bar and 26 table seats, has been designed as a traditional Japanese restaurant and has been harmonised by an expert Feng Shui consultant all the way from Hong Kong. One distinct feature is that the venue is filled with over 80 rubber ducks; this isn’t just a random cool gimmick. It reflects the story of how Kokoro came about – one could say they were mascots cheering the team on as a reminder of how far they have come, from Texas to Dubai.
