Riyadh- – Hyundai’s popular flagship SUV, the new 2023 Palisade, is set to make its highly anticipated debut in the Middle East within the coming weeks. Unveiled at an exclusive press event in the Kingdom, Hyundai showcased the SUV’s updated design and stunning features.
The new Palisade delivers refreshed interior and exterior design elements boasting novel convenience and safety tech as well as ADAS (advanced driver assistance) systems. The new Palisade will arrive at Hyundai distributor showrooms in the region by the end of this year.
The 2023 Palisade enhance design, was carefully refined to reflect leadership and a sense of premium the grille shape, which is now wider, cascading reflects a robust parametric shield shape.
A noticeable design DNA signature is the new forward lighting system featuring vertically connected LED composite lights, making a sharp-edged frame of the grille.
From the side, The New, 20-inch wheels with a new multi-spoke gush imposing stance. Also fortifying a strong image, are the new strake detailing on the lower front skid plate element.
The new 2023 Palisade comes now with many drivers and passenger comfort and convenience novelties; the novel Ergo driver’s seat, which provides designed to provide comfort and help reduce fatigue during long drives. Passengers in the 2nd row now enjoy enhanced comfort with the added wing-out headrests and seat ventilation for extra comfort. Another smart tech feature meant for more driver convenience, is the optional full display “digital center” rearview mirror, which uses a rearview camera to allow the driver to clearly see behind the new Palisade without the obstructions of passengers or cargo. The large and user-centric 12-inch display boasts many applications and functionality, including smartphone connectivity and mirroring capabilities.
The family-oriented flagship SUV interior conveys an ambient of relaxation and comfort creating a highly comfortable and cozy family space with eight-passenger seating standard ready for all family trips and outings.
Also a very important family-oriented tech feature is the Ultrasonic Rear Occupant Alert, which monitors the rear seats to detect the movements of children and pets, reminding drivers to check the rear seats when exiting the vehicle; if the system detects movement in the rear seats after the driver leaves and locks the vehicle, The system is designed to help prevent children and pets from being forgotten in the car, but it can also help in case children accidentally lock themselves in.
Palisade power comes from several engine choices, starting from a 3.5-liter MPI V6 delivering 272 horsepower and 330 Nm torque. For more performance, an Atkinson-cycle 3.8-liter V6, dual CVVT, direct-injected engine, for excellent power and efficiency. This 3.8-liter powerplant produces an estimated 295 horsepower and an estimated 355 NM of torque. Palisade delivers that power to the wheels via a refined eight-speed automatic transmission with a multi-plate torque converter and offers both two-wheel and HTRAC® four-wheel-drive configurations.
The 2023 Palisade comes with the most advanced safety and driver assistance features and technologies. The cabin occupants enjoy the protection of rear side-impact airbags as standard.
