Madrid-: Anantara Villa Padierna Palace Benahavís Marbella Resort, a popular family destination on the Costa del Sol and a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, is delighted to announce the date of the next ChefsForChildren autism advocacy event held in collaboration with Autism Spain, a national federation of autism associations.

On 22 April 2024, 55 Michelin-starred chefs from across Spain will come together for the annual gastronomic event to show their solidarity and support children with autism. This initiative, which fuses culinary art with community support, will offer children with autism an educational and therapeutic experience through gastronomy in the relaxed outdoor setting of Anantara Villa Padierna.

Held under the motto “Eating healthy is fun”, ChefsForChildren has a twofold goal: teaching culinary skills to 150 boys and girls from the Benahavís and Autism Spain schools, and raising awareness about the importance of healthy eating and the needs and rights of autistic people.

The event, now in its 6th year, will feature 55 Michelin-credentialed chefs, including three-starred culinary virtuosos Ángel León (Aponiente***), Elena Arzak (Arzak***), Toño Pérez (Atrio***) and Eneko Atxa (Azurmendi***), who will share their passion and expertise with the children through cooking workshops. The day will also include a morning press conference and a gala dinner with an exclusive tasting menu, prepared by Michelin-starred chefs from Malaga and the culinary team at Anantara Villa Padierna.

General Manager Jorge Manzur, who will host ChefsForChildren for the second time, said: “We are proud and excited to renew our commitment with this project that has strong roots on the Costa del Sol. In April, we will once again gather the culinary masters of our country at Anantara Villa Padierna. It is a great honour and joy to collaborate in an event that combines solidarity and support for children who need it, with the teaching of healthy eating. We will work closely with Autism Spain to make this edition unforgettable for everyone.”
