Riyadh, Saudi Arabia: Almarai Company has reported revenue of SAR 6.19 billion for the third quarter of 2026, an 11% increase compared with SAR 5.55 billion in the same period last year. The company’s results reflect continued demand across its core categories, growth across multiple markets and the increasing contribution of recent investments.

Net profit reached SAR 617.8 million in Q3 2026, compared with SAR 613.2 million in Q3 2025, representing an increase of approximately 1%. Higher feed shipping, distribution and energy costs offset much of the benefit from revenue growth and an improved sales mix.

For the first nine months of 2026, Almarai recorded revenue of SAR 18.22 billion, up 10% from SAR 16.61 billion in the corresponding period of 2025. Net profit remained broadly stable at SAR 1.99 billion.

Almarai Revenue Growth Supported by Multiple Markets

Almarai’s third-quarter performance reflected broad-based growth across markets, product categories and sales channels. The company benefited from higher poultry volumes following recent capacity expansion, stronger dairy sales in Egypt and the contribution from its water business acquisition.

The results also highlighted the growing contribution of investments made in recent years. Expanded production capacity and improvements across the company’s manufacturing and distribution operations supported its ability to respond to demand across its markets.

Almarai continued to focus on cost control and operational improvements amid higher external expenses. Its established brands, market position and integrated business model remained important factors supporting performance during the quarter.

Commenting on the results, Fawaz Al Jasser, CEO of Almarai Company, said the business had delivered broad-based revenue growth, supported by strong brands, continued demand across core categories and disciplined execution.

He added that investments made in recent years were increasingly contributing to growth and strengthening the company’s ability to serve consumers across its markets.

Dairy, Juice and Bakery Support Category Performance

The dairy and juice category benefited from sustained demand and an improved revenue mix. Product innovation and portfolio development continued to support Almarai’s response to changing consumer preferences.

The bakery category also recorded improved performance, supported by a stronger sales mix, product innovation and disciplined cost management. The company continued to pursue targeted product development and selective growth opportunities within the category.

These areas contributed to the company’s broader revenue performance, reflecting demand across its established product portfolio and ongoing efforts to adapt to market requirements.

Poultry Business Faces Higher Operating Costs

Almarai’s protein category recorded a lower net profit contribution in Q3 2026 compared with the same period in 2025. The performance reflected poultry market supply conditions, higher distribution costs linked to elevated energy expenses and costs associated with ramping up operations.

Despite these pressures, higher poultry volumes following capacity expansion contributed to the company’s overall revenue growth. The results illustrate the difference between increasing sales and maintaining profitability when operating expenses remain elevated.

Across the business, higher feed shipping, distribution and energy costs continued to weigh on margins, limiting the impact of revenue growth on net profit.

Almarai Receives Industry Recognition

During the quarter, Almarai continued to strengthen its operational and financial capabilities. The company received recognition for digital transformation at the LEAP 2026 conference.

It also received awards for Islamic Issuer of the Year 2026 and Best Sukuk in Food and Beverage at The Asset Triple A Islamic Finance Awards 2026.

The recognitions accompanied the company’s continued focus on operational development, financial capabilities and investment in its business.

Almarai Outlook for the Remainder of 2026

Almarai remains confident in the underlying strength of its business, supported by trusted brands, established market positions and an integrated manufacturing and distribution network.

The company said it would continue to focus on disciplined execution and sustainable, profitable growth. Its performance in the first nine months of 2026 reflects continued revenue expansion, while cost pressures remain an important consideration for profitability.

As recent capacity investments and acquisitions contribute further to operations, Almarai’s ability to balance demand growth with cost management will remain central to its financial performance.

The third-quarter results underline the company’s revenue momentum across core categories, alongside the need to manage rising operating expenses to support earnings growth.
