Ajman-: The Ajman Department of Tourism Development signed a memorandum of understanding with R Education & Academic Development (READ) to provide support, exchange experiences, and enhance cooperation in conducting studies and research and improve the performance of the education and tourism sectors in the Emirate of Ajman.

The memorandum of understanding was signed between His Excellency Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development, and Imran Khan, President of R Education & Academic Development (READ). Both parties expressed confidence that this agreement lays a solid foundation to achieve common objectives and foster cooperation.

This agreement aims to provide support and assistance in the field of research, studies and surveys carried out by both parties, offer scholarships and discounts by the second party, promote, participate and engage in social responsibility in the tourism sector including community support, activities, events and workshops and others. It also includes following best practices in the delivery of the programs or offered services.

In this regard, His Excellency Mahmood Khaleel Alhashmi, Director General of the Ajman Department of Tourism Development confirmed that the Emirate of Ajman, under the directives and vision of the wise leadership, continues to enhance its presence as a prominent educational destination in the region providing unique experiences for the local and international visitors.

“Signing the agreement with R Education & Academic Development (READ) comes in line with the department’s efforts to enhance joint cooperation and establish fruitful partnerships with leading academic bodies that aim to create a significant transformative impact by providing the highest levels of excellence in education, research and innovation”, he added.

Imran Khan, president of R Education & Academic Development (READ), said: “We are honored to cooperate with Ajman Department of Tourism Development to consolidate the position of the emirate, and highlight its advanced academic specializations and programs which meet the needs of the labor market and support the community. We look forward to establishing a fruitful partnership with Ajman Tourism, maintaining joint efforts and exchanging experiences at all levels.”

This memorandum reflects Ajman Tourismpeople andnt to raising the efficiency of the tourism sector in the emirate and emphasizes the vital role of education and training in achieving this by preparing specialized cadres in the tourism sector, providing job opportunities for young people, and attracting more tourists to the emirate.
