With the launch of the “Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition” held in Jeddah from 26th to 29th Jumada al-Akhirah 1445 H, corresponding to 8th to 11th January 2024, aiming to introduce the tasks and services provided to the guests of the Merciful, Mr. Salem Al-Shahrani, the Director of Operations and Operations for the Accor Makkah Hotels Group, including the Makkah Clock Royal Tower – Fairmont Hotel, Makkah Raffles Palace, Makkah Swissotel, and Swissotel Makkah, emphasized that the conference and exhibition are essential windows for strengthening communication with various countries and peoples of the Arab and Islamic world regionally and globally.

Al-Shahrani explained that the conference aligns with Saudi Vision 2030, offering a comprehensive strategy to develop the Hajj and Umrah system by harnessing capacities and potentials to serve the guests of the Merciful.

Accor Makkah Hotels Group, located in the Clock Towers, comprises luxurious hotels in Makkah, boasting over 5000 rooms and suites overlooking the Holy Mosque and the Kaaba. It provides high-quality services for up to 3 million guests annually, visiting the holy city for Umrah or Hajj.

The group includes:

  1. Makkah Clock Royal Tower – Fairmont Hotel**: A landmark in Makkah, directly connected to the Holy Mosque, with 76 floors offering royal rooms and suites overlooking the Kaaba. It features exclusive services, 10 fine dining restaurants, a health and wellness club, and comprehensive meeting facilities.
  2. Makkah Raffles Palace A luxurious hotel with a modern design, offering premium suites with state-of-the-art amenities. It provides a royal stay experience, direct access to the Holy Mosque, panoramic views of the Kaaba, a private prayer area, and a high-standard health club.
  3. Makkah Swissotel Known for its premium services, it is located near the Holy Mosque with private access. The rooms and suites offer direct views of the Kaaba, and the hotel houses Al-Rawd restaurant, one of the largest in Makkah, with a capacity of 2500 visitors.
  4. Swissotel Maqam Makkah Situated in the heart of Makkah, it provides a comfortable stay with a main entrance to the Holy Mosque. The rooms and suites offer direct views of the Kaaba, and the hotel features the largest Al-Rawd restaurant with a capacity of 3000 visitors.

Regarding the preparations for the holy month of Ramadan, Al-Shahrani affirmed the group’s full readiness, creating a spiritual atmosphere in the hotels to support the guests’ experience during the blessed month. The group accommodates 25,000 guests daily, maintaining a commitment to delivering high-quality services through an internationally experienced team. The group also prepares diverse international breakfast and suhoor menus, organizes public spaces and halls for various religious, cultural events, and provides a private prayer area for guests to pray in congregation with the Holy Mosque.

It’s worth mentioning that the “Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition” held in Jeddah from 26th to 29th Jumada al-Akhirah 1445 H, corresponding to 8th to 11th January 2024, aims to introduce the tasks and services provided to the guests of the Merciful as part of the “Guests of the Merciful” program, one of the programs of Saudi Vision 2030.
