Bernardini joins the Accor property with more than three decades of international hospitality leadership across Europe and the Middle East

Dubai : Pullman Dubai Downtown has announced the appointment of Alfio Bernardini as its new general manager. Bernardini brings extensive hospitality experience across luxury and upscale hotels in the UAE, Europe and the Indian Ocean, with his fluency in Italian, English, German and French supporting an international career that has included senior leadership positions within Accor and other leading international hospitality brands.

Most recently, Bernardini served as general manager of Grand Plaza Mövenpick Media City Dubai, where he led the hotel’s successful pre-opening and drove its commercial strategy, operational performance and guest experience.

Earlier in his career, he held senior leadership roles across the UAE, Kuwait, Mauritius, Austria and Italy.

A graduate of César Ritz Colleges Switzerland, Bernardini has further strengthened his leadership expertise through executive programmes in Strategic Management and Hotel Asset Management at Cornell University. He also holds an Executive MBA in Global Hospitality from Les Roches.

In his new role, Bernardini will oversee the overall operations and strategic direction of Pullman Dubai Downtown, with a focus on commercial performance, operational excellence, talent development and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
