Al-Baha : During Saudi Summer 2026, the Al-Baha region continues to strengthen its position as one of the Kingdom’s top summer destinations. With a mild climate, scenic mountain landscapes, and a variety of experiences, Al-Baha blends forests, heritage, and entertainment—making it ideal for families as well as adventure and exploration enthusiasts.
In Al-Baha, clouds often cover the mountain peaks, while mist settles among forests and terraced farmlands. Natural viewpoints offer panoramic sights of the highlands and valleys. The experience is complemented by restaurants, cafés, and outdoor seating areas that make it easy to enjoy a full summer day.
One of the most popular spots for leisurely strolls and exercise is Al-Baha Walkway, also known as the Container Walkway, where visitors can spend relaxed summer evenings with family and friends at local cafés.
Heritage is also a key part of the journey, starting with the Al-Atawla Heritage Village, where history is reflected through ancient buildings, alleyways, and traditional architecture. Another standout landmark is the heritage village of Dhi Ain, which dates back more than 450 years. The village is famous for its multi-story stone houses built on a white marble hill, as well as a natural spring that inspired the village’s name. At Prince Hussam Park, the 18th International Honey Festival will be held from July 26 to 30, 2026, celebrating Al-Baha’s beekeeping and honey production heritage. The festival will bring together participants from four countries and 50+ exhibitors, giving visitors access to 40+ honey varieties and 30+ tons of honey products. Attendees can also learn about honey production stages and meet beekeepers and specialists.
Complementing the festival, the Beekeepers Cooperative Society offers experiences that introduce visitors to apiaries, the honey production process, and local tastings. Meanwhile, hiking trails across forests, agricultural terraces, and viewpoints overlooking Tihama invite those who enjoy active exploration.
Throughout Saudi Summer 2026, Al-Baha will host a rich program of events and tourism experiences built through cooperation between the public and private sectors—aiming to enhance services, raise the quality of the visitor experience, and further establish Al-Baha as a summer destination defined by nature, adventure, and heritage.
