Riyadh- MSdossary’s Game On tournament is back for video game fans in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, specifically e-football, with a series of qualifiers and a national final that will take place between September 10 and 15.
Named after international FIFAe star Musaed Al Dossary, aka MSdossary, the tournament stands out for its interactive format: it is held according to two-team competitions, each consisting of two players. The two players must take turns within the team, which means that each player must hand over the role to his teammate at specific points of each match: when the team scores a goal, receives a red card, or between half-times.
The two players are entitled to one free switch during the match. Should the two halves end in a tie, the players switch again and go to the golden goal format. In the event that the extra time does not decide the outcome of the match, players must resort to a penalty kick, with each player being replaced after each kick livecric. The game format also requires that all matches be played at the Red Bull Arena in Leipzig, and last a maximum of 8 minutes.
The MSdossary Game On qualifiers will span across Jeddah, Dammam, and Riyadh on September 10 and 13 respectively, before the national final, which will be hosted by E Spot gaming center in Riyadh on September 15.
The tournament is held in partnership with Red Bull Mobile, Cenomi and E Spot.
