Khobar, KSA –: Eng. Abdullah S. Al-Saadoon, the CEO of Sahara International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem), has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Gulf Petrochemicals & Chemicals Association (GPCA). The prestigious appointment was announced during the GPCA 2021 annual general assembly meeting held recently in Dubai, and underlines Eng. Al-Saadoon’s highly significant contribution to the petrochemicals industry.
Eng. Al-Saadoon joined Sipchem in 2001 and was appointed CEO in 2020. The company has gone on to achieve many significant milestones under his visionary leadership, as well as significant increases in revenue. Driven by a commitment to leverage innovation and deliver operational excellence, Sipchem reported a net income of SAR 411.5 million (USD 109.7 million) during the first quarter of 2021.
