Yinhe L7 Smart Cockpit utilizing the latest Geely Yinhe N Operating System (N-OS) was officially released by Geely brand with the theme of “Hi Yinhe”.
The Yinhe Smart Cockpit draws inspiration from the sublime and boundless Milky Way Galaxy with a UI design rich with visual effects, reacts seamlessly to users touch, and natively set with app and feature placement in line with user intuition. The UI interface has a clear hierarchy, card layout, and intuitively placed X (close) icon on every app. Four large smart screens in the cockpit work together seamlessly and harmoniously like a multiscreen home entertainment station. The familiar screen set up and operations improves the user friendliness with modern day users. Highly customizable, users can play around with themes, wallpapers, and interfaces on the instrument screen, central control screen, and secondary screens as they like. While driving and navigating, digital maps can be seamlessly moved between screens by swiping with three fingers.
The N-OS was developed around the concept of“open source and open integration” to perfectly replicate the interactive experience of mobile phones, tablets, and touch screen computers. The N-OS takes milliseconds to reach operational level from a boot status, setting a new benchmark for the automotive industry.
This speed has been accomplished with the support of a customized 8155 smart cockpit chip based on 7nm chip technology, 128GB RAM, and cloud computing power from Geely Auto Group.
The goal in the development of the Geely Yinhe smart cockpit was to bring the users a “worry-free, relaxed, and joyful” smart mobility experience. It was born from Geely’s powerful full-stack independent global technology ecosystem which aims to bring “greater intelligence to cars, roads, and people.”
