Riyad, Saudi Arabia– Schneider Electric, the global leader in the digital transformation of energy management and automation, concluded its participation at MIPIM 2023, one of the leading international real estate exhibitions, held in Cannes, France.
Through the exhibition, Schneider Electric showcased equipment and software for the real estate sector, highlightinmg major partnership with some of the region’s biggest developers. The exhibition was an opportunity to highlight Saudi Arabia’s growing real estate sector and open new horizons for potential real estate investment in the Kingdom.
Representatives from Schneider Electric’s global leadership team shared insights in a number of panel discussions on the sidelines of the MIPIM exhibition including “COP27 The Way Forward” in which Estelle Monod, Senior Vice President of Building Segments at Schneider Electric. She participated as a speaker among a lineup of experts including Eng. Khaled Abbas, Chairman and Managing Director of the Administrative Capital Company, Victoria Burrows, Director of Advancing Net Zero at the World Green Building Council, and Dr. Ahmed Shalaby, President and CEO of Tatweer Misr.
The thought-provoking session addressed the pressing issues of sustainability in the new fourth-generation cities, the need for smart buildings to combat climate change, and accelerating the transition to net zero emissions. The discussion emphasized the real estate sector’s critical role in balancing all of this while maintaining real estate growth rates, with the invaluable contribution of companies like Schneider Electric in helping developers achieve their environmental goals.
