Multi-million dollar jewellery pieces to be exhibited in the Kingdom Educational Seminar line-up announced

 

The highly anticipated Saudi International Luxury Week is kicking off next week on Monday 8th May with the opening of the Jeddah edition. Taking place at Jeddah Hilton and running until 11th May, this is the first time the prestigious jewellery exhibition will be held in the Kingdom’s second city.

The following week, the event will move to Riyadh’s Al Faisaliah Hotel, where it will open to the public from 16th-19th May.

Designed to create a platform for conversation in the luxury jewellery space, Jeddah and Riyadh International Luxury Weeks are the largest of their kind to ever be held in Saudi Arabia.

With over 120 local and international jewellery brands exhibiting fine and high jewellery collections, bridal pieces, and standout, multi-million dollar creations in both cities, Saudi International Luxury Week will showcase the best in exquisite gemstones, creativity, heritage and savoir-faire.

As part of the event programme, a series of Educational Seminars will be held in both cities.

On the second day of the show in Jeddah, entrepreneur and jewellery maker Lilian Ismail and GIA-certified jewellery professional, writer and trainer Seema Haji will address current industry topics such as Innovation in Jewellery Design, The Art of Jewellery Making, and Trends in Sustainability & Ethically Sourced Materials.

The Riyadh seminars will be held on 17th and 18th May, opened by Krayem AlEnazi, President of the National committee for Precious Metals and Gemstones – Federation of Saudi Chambers.

Guest of honour Ishaia Gol, New York based world-renowned diamond dealer, will join Ziad Khalid, GIA graduate and senior instructor at DANAT, the Bahrain Institute for Pearls and Gemstones, and Dr Manal Saleh, Owner of Pearls Story boutique, touching on Buying Gemstones, Natural Pearls, The World of Coloured Diamonds, and Natural, Lab-grown & Imitation Diamonds, amongst other topics.
