Dubai’s hottest new Japanese restaurant concept brings its award-winning menu direct to your door
UAE,-, Rainer Becker’s award-winning robatayaki concept ROKA launches an exclusive delivery partnership with the UAE’s leading delivery platform Deliveroo. Commencing Monday 4th of May, 2020, ROKA will be offering their celebrated robatayaki cuisine to loyal fans – and newcomers alike – for home delivery in Dubai.
Launched in February 2020 in the ME Hotel at The Opus in Business Bay, ZUMA’s popular baby sister has brought its unique style of contemporary Japanese cooking and urban design to Downtown Dubai. This is the ROKA brand’s first Middle East opening since the flagship location – found on London’s buzzing Charlotte street – opened in 2004.
The specially curated menu will include signature dishes from the robata such as yakitori-negima yaki – robata grilled chicken skewers with spring onion and the Kankoku fu kohitsuji, flavorsome lamb cutlets with Korean spices and sesame cucumber, as well as the gindara no saikyo-yaki, black cod in marinated yuzu miso. Other menu favourites such as maki rolls, tempura and salads will also be available.
In addition to the a la carte menu, ROKA is also launching its first ever Iftar menu for the holy month of Ramadan. The extensive menu includes miso soup, beef and ginger dumplings, baby spinach with sesame dressing and a spicy mixed seafood maki. Followed by a rice hotpot with japanese mushrooms, tenderstem broccoli miso and a choice of either the beef or salmon fillet. All orders are accompanied with steamed rice and dates. The iftar menu is priced at 195aed per person.
The at home dining experience is available every day from Monday 4th May, between 5pm – 1am and is currently available within a 15 minutes radius of the Business bay restaurant on Deliveroo’s ordering platform. Collection is also available from ROKA, at The Opus by Zaha Hadid, Business Bay.
ROKA Dubai will go live on Deliveroo’s platforms exclusively for Dubai customers on
Monday 4th, May 2020.
The restaurant is also open 7 days a week from 5pm – 10pm for in-restaurant dining guests, following all government regulations.
