Dubai-: Qasr al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara, the luxury oasis in the fabled Empty Quarter, has announced exciting offers for both Eid al Adha and Summer escapes. On the outskirts of Abu Dhabi, Qasr Al Sarab by Anantara rests in the world’s largest sand desert – the Empty Quarter. Summer/ Eid Al Adha offers

 

The Summer Surprise offer starts at AED 955 per room for a night’s stay, with a complimentary upgrade to the next room category (with a maximum up to a suite), alongside a delicious all-inclusive breakfast for two, breakfast with the resort’s compliments to children below six years of age, and AED 200 spa credit.

However, during Eid Al Adha, between the June 27th – July 2nd, guests can enjoy the same benefits from the Summer Surprise offer, as well as the opportunity to add on an extra 30 complimentary minutes with every 60-minute spa treatment booked*.

The resort also invites guests to experience a host of thrilling paid resort activities such as camel rides, Polaris rides, Falcon & Saluki shows (just to name a few), and as part of the Eid offer, with every two activities, guests receive a third complimentary, offering those the chance to immerse themselves into authentic desert heritage in the most exciting of ways. Moreover, a collection of complimentary activities, such as ‘Meet the Falcon’, ‘Night Discovery Walk’, ‘Fat Bike’ and a breathtaking indoor ‘Cinema experience under the Stars’ will also be available over the long weekend.

Children aged 12 and under are welcome to stay and dine for free during Eid Al Adha and can immerse themselves in a specially curated (and inclusive) Kids Club Programme, comprising of ‘Face Painting’, a ‘Cooking Class’, ‘Olympic Games’, ‘Henna’, ‘Dining in Arabic Traditions’, ‘Learning about Desert Animals’, ‘Kids Cinema under the Stars’, ‘Pool Olympic’ games, and the ultimate ‘Mini Disco’.

Summer Villa Exclusive

Families or bigger groups can opt for the Summer Villa Exclusive offer and book a one, two, or three bedroom villa with private plunge pool and terrace from which they can enjoy stunning desert views in the most serene private setting. Villa stays start from AED 1995, with children aged 6 and under welcome to stay and dine with compliments. This offer is also available during Eid weekend.

All Inclusive Luxury

Moreover, guests can experience ultimate luxury with an all-inclusive stay for two. The recently launched All Inclusive Luxury offer starts from AED 2,830 per couple, and offers a delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner (excluding Suhail restaurant) and refreshing house drinks, daily. Everything is covered, including one complimentary activity per night per stay, to enhance the adventure.

 

The Resort

 

Qasr al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara is easily accessible (just 90 minutes from Abu Dhabi), and its unique and remote location within the unending golden desert takes guests a million miles from the everyday, with a sense of both stepping away from the city, and back in time.

Cosmopolitan dining against breath-taking natural backdrops can be found at rooftop bar and restaurant, Suhail – a spectacular spot for sundowners and enjoying the finest grills under the stars, while Middle Eastern and international delights await at Al Waha.

For guests content poolside, Ghadeer offers relaxed dining during the day then transforms into a candlelit retreat with a global menu throughout the evening. Naseem Pool Bar offers relaxed daytime dining, and tea, coffee and fine snacks can be enjoyed at Al Liwan lobby lounge.

During the day, the mysteries of the desert can be explored with a selection of adrenaline-racing activities, led by seasoned activity guides.

Then, to wind down from the adrenaline-fueled activities, guests can step into a world of relaxation at the Anantara Spa, a haven of Arabian traditions and Thai expertise.

One of the highlights is the Moroccan Hammam, equipped with a heated marble slab, Jacuzzis, steams, a sauna, and an ice room. This traditional experience can be paired with a facial, wrap or massage such as the Anantara Signature Massage, or the Desert Fusion Massage that combines hot stone and hot Liwa sand massage techniques.  After, guests can relax while gazing out of the floor to ceiling windows, which reveal soothing views of the dunes.

Meanwhile, children will revel in the fun at the kids’ and teens’ clubs, where a host of complimentary activities await under the careful supervision of the experienced attendants. Babysitting services are also available with a supplement.
