Petromin Nissan announced a strategic partnership with Nissan Formula E Team for three years from 2023. Petromin Nissan as an official dealer of Nissan vehicles in KSA. With this partnership, it will become the official innovation partner of Nissan Formula Team.
Kalyana Sivagnanam, Petromin Group CEO expressed: we are excited to be partnering with Nissan Formula E Team, that shares a commitment to support developing a low-carbon mobility approach. This cooperation will strengthen KSA efforts to reach net zero emissions by the year 2060, which corresponds to the kingdom planning for the shift to electric vehicles.
Terence Byrne, The National Motor Company CEO expressed his enthusiasm: “the partnership with Nissan Formula E Team, a joy of zero-emission electric vehicles to a global audience will be reality in the coming years, Especially since Nissan Motor Company intends to electrify every all-new vehicle offering by the early 2030s in key markets as part of its goal of achieving carbon neutrality in all operations and the life cycle of its products by 2050.”

It is noteworthy that Nissan Formula E Team is ready to take on CORE Diriyah E-Prix 2023, which will be held on January 27-28, 2023. Diriyah E-Prix is a FIA World Championship among single-seater motorsport championship for electric vehicles. Championship aims to face climate change for a better future through implementation of ongoing initiatives in economic, social, and environmental sustainability worldwide. Formula E is contributing massively to the development of recent technologies, renewable energies, and future electric vehicles.
Nissan’s attendance at the event, sharing its wide experience in designing and constructing electric vehicles used on the road to develop its new fully electric vehicle. The new one is dedicated to Formula-E motor racing which includes a well-matched electric motor, transformer, and gearbox.
