- Saudi professional golfer Othman Almulla signs agreement with NEOM
NEOM, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – NEOM, the global development taking shape in northwest Saudi Arabia, has signed a partnership with Othman Almulla, the first professional golfer from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This highlights NEOM’s commitment to supporting Saudi talent as it endeavors to become an innovative hub for sport. Almulla will help NEOM’s ambition to promote active and healthy lifestyles within the community, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.

Almulla, 36, was born and raised in Saudi Arabia. He started playing golf at age 15 and quickly rose to prominence, competing in tournaments around the world. A main member of the Saudi Arabian National Golf team for 18 years, Almulla turned professional in 2019 – the first golfer from the Kingdom to do so. He continues to compete in professional tours internationally.
Almulla will represent Saudi Arabia at the next Asian Tour event, the PIF Saudi International powered by Softbank Investment Advisers. The tournament takes place at the Royal Greens Golf and Country Club in King Abdullah Economic City from February 2 -5.
