A new mouthwatering selection of yakitori is now available at YUi, showcasing a range of high-quality ingredients including 100% hormone-free halal chicken and Japanese wagyu
Japanese urban eatery, YUi in Dubai Design District has introduced a new mouthwatering selection of yakitori to its menu, using a range of high-quality ingredients including 100% hormone-free halal chicken sourced from handpicked farms in the UAE.
To ensure an authentic, true-in-taste dish, YUi’s new speciality yakitori grill was sourced from Japan. Delivering sizzling-good aromas across the restaurant, the yakitori grill now offers up drool-worthy skewers to guests for dinner daily.
New to the menu from the yakitori grill, diners will find both meat and vegetarian options available. The ‘negima’ serves up juicy bites of succulent chicken thigh with spring onion, while the ‘tsukune’ combines tender minced chicken balls with Onsen egg.
The king oyster mushroom yakitori presents a juicy and flavourful bite, as does the Japanese wagyu beef tri tip skewer glazed in an onion mizore sauce. For a lighter but equally as satisfying option, the asparagus yakitori is fresh, slightly crunchy and caramelised over the grill.
Guests at YUi can expect to find their yakitori served on hasami-yaki ceramics originating from Hasami City in Nagasaki, which wows with its deep colouring and diverse design – bringing with it over 400 years of history being embedded in Japan’s traditional culinary scene.
Great alongside a bowl of ramen or as a main course, Yakitori gained its popularity as a street food in Japan during the Meiji era and has now become one of the most loved comfort foods in the country (and world), and can now be enjoyed at YUi for dinner every day.
