Elevating their love for chocolate to a whole new level, European-inspired gastronomy concept Mondoux has teamed up with the experts of the trade, the Chocolate Academy™, to design two artistic showpieces – uniquely crafted desserts exclusive to Mondoux – in honour of World Chocolate Day. Served at both the restaurant’s locations, in Dubai Creek Harbour and The Beach, JBR, the new chocolate creations will be available on Thursday, 7th July, through Tuesday, 12th July.
Exotic Chocolate Tart
An indulgent chocolate tartlet, it is just as exotic as it is elaborate. The juicy chocolate sponge cake is layered with fresh mango, passion fruit and banana puree, and topped with a hazelnut praline and chocolate ganache. Fun fact for the health-conscious and sustainable amongst us: the ganache is entirely made from 100 percent pure cacao fruit. Zesty and fruity, this sustainable revolutionary ingredient is upcycled from the delicious pulp and peel of the highest quality pure cacao fruits. Price: AED59
Delicate and light, this quenelle shaped dessert is beautiful craftsmanship at its best. Perfectly perched on a cacao sable biscuit, the dark chocolate and coffee crémeux – coated in gold chocolate glaze – conceals a scrumptious chocolate sponge cake. In preparation for the special occasion, Mondoux’s pastry chefs, always upto the challenge of honing their skills and mastering the latest cutting-edge techniques from industry playmakers, were guided and inspired by the chefs and artisans of the Chocolate Academy™. The new desserts are made from scratch and use only the finest ingredients, including chocolate from premium chocolatier Cacao Barry.
