Uluwatu Estate, a tropical paradise on Bali’s southern Bukit Peninsula, is Mandarin Oriental Exclusive Homes’ first foray into the Asian private villa market.
Hong Kong — Mandarin Oriental Exclusive Homes has welcomed the breathtaking Uluwatu Estate into the growing portfolio for 2023. The immaculate eight-bedroom estate is the first property in Asia to join the collection.
Mandarin Oriental Exclusive Homes is a branded collection of the world’s finest private vacation homes, chalets and mansions. Operated in collaboration with luxury home rental platform StayOne. Each home is hand-picked for its outstanding quality and sought-after location, while also providing personalised service and experiences in keeping with the legendary hospitality of the award-winning brand.
The name Uluwatu comes from ulu, meaning “land’s end”, and watu, meaning “rock” and the property’s namesake certainly captures the essence of the cliff-top views that make this home so special. Uluwatu Estate was constructed by its owners as a labour of love after they were inspired to create the perfect frame for the spectacular views. The expansive estate epitomises indoor-outdoor living with open-air living areas, immaculate gardens and reflection pools connecting the eight independent suites. The thoughtful design pays homage to modern aesthetics, luxury and comfort whilst capturing the essence of Balinese style.
Bali is a destination offering numerous styles of holiday, from partying to cultural exploration or health and fitness, and Uluwatu Estate is equipped to cater to all. Wellness is a strong theme on the island and between the estate’s own private spa and team of on-call yoga instructors, those seeking a luxurious retreat will not be disappointed. Surfers will appreciate the impressive breaks at Blue Point Beach, Padang Padang Right and Canggu which are all within easy reach. The estate can arrange private candle-lit dinners on the beach or transport guests to one of the many renowned beach clubs nearby.
Chef Eco, the estate’s head chef, designs delightful daily menus tailored to guest preferences and inspired by local produce. The estate’s professional and experienced staff, from bartender to chauffer, all exude famous Balinese charm.
“We are thrilled that Uluwatu Estate has been selected as the first Mandarin Oriental Exclusive Home in Asia-Pacific. Our team is very much looking forward to creating memorable Balinese experiences in keeping with legendary Mandarin Oriental hospitality for all our future guests,” said Renee Zecha, owner of Uluwatu Estate.
