Al Noor’s annual 4km, superhero-themed ‘Walk for Inclusion’ returns, bringing with it a host of fun activities, from painting and bouncy castles to football and basketball
Dubai, UAE –: The annual Al Noor Zurich Hope for Children Family Funfair and Run is back, encouraging Dubai do-gooders to don their superhero capes and help make the world a better place, one step at a time.
Set to take place this Saturday, March 4, the annual event is organised by Dubai’s Al Noor Training Centre for Persons with Disabilities, with all funds raised going towards helping the more than 200 students at Al Noor diagnosed with physical and cognitive conditions such as Downs Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and Autism.
The day starts with the traditional Walk for Inclusion, a 4km fun run that actively encourages participants to dress as their favourite superhero. Starting at 8am, the walk is free to attend and offers prizes to the best-dressed individual, family, and determined.
Following the walk, the Al Noor Zurich Hope for Children Family Funfair will run from 9am to 9pm with fairground rides, a Kids’ Village, a painting competition, bouncy castles, and discounts on food, drinks, books, and more. All funds raised go directly to safeguarding the education, care, and professional training on offer to the more than 200 children.
The Al Noor – Bank of Sharjah Funfair Sports Tournament, taking place at the Centre’s indoor auditorium, will feature teams of between five-to-ten players competing in football and basketball matches. Entry costs Dh3,000 per team, with all proceeds going to Al Noor.
