The Gulf Motors Company, one of the United Motors Group companies, opened the first branch of Repair2Care outside of its national borders. Situated on Palestine Street in Jeddah, the branch opened its doors on 22nd January, 2023 to be the region’s first-of-its-kind smart repairs and vehicle protection solutions service. This will be the main branch of Repair2Care owing to its proximity to the Kia and Jetour maintenance sites. Over the next few months, two more branches will be added in Riyadh and Dammam.
Widely acclaimed for its unique and innovative offerings in the automotive industry, the United Motors Group forged the partnership with the car specialists to provide cutting-edge, high-quality services to car enthusiasts and drivers in the Middle East. This also marks the first international partnership of Repair2Care.
Repair2Care is the world’s first chain of full-service workshops, specializing in cosmetic interior and exterior vehicle repairs. It is also one of the most innovative offerings of the HBC Group that represents several decades of expertise and experience in the automotive repair and maintenance industry, and is built on the ‘Repair not Replace’ philosophy.
The Car enthusiasts take special interest in customizing and modifying their vehicle to make it unique, especially in the Middle East. But they are exposed to wear and tear on a daily basis due to external factors, such as the weather, which can reduce their value tremendously. Moreover, statistics show that approximately 40% of the cars that enter a workshop for service and maintenance have a minimum of 2.2 minor cosmetic damages that are never repaired, almost always because of high costs and inconvenience to the owner. The Repair2Care revolutionary Smart Repair solutions and professional services eliminate the need to completely replace damaged parts.
Mr. Hassan Alshamrani, CEO of United Motors Group said, “With bringing the expertise of Repair2Care to KSA, Gulf Motors Company will be able to offer its clients in KSA a professional car care as well as a cosmetic inspection to ensure that their car is always in the best possible condition – all while avoiding time-consuming and expensive replacements.”
“We are excited to expand our services to this market and introduce our unique concept of a workshop chain specializing exclusively in repairs of both interior and exterior cosmetic damages to cars, as well as professional car care and protection. We believe this move will be beneficial for clients in the Middle East which is home to many car enthusiasts who will now have access to our specialized services and expertise. ” said Mr. Henrik Bro Christensen, founder, HBC Group and Repair2Care CEO.
The opening event was attended by prominent personalities in the automotive world, influencers, news & media professionals as well as automotive enthusiasts. The Jeddah branch, and all future branches of Repair2Care in KSA, will be designed in the signature Scandinavian style and feature accredited specialists that have received world class training in-house or at their prestigious training academies.
