The announcement of the first acts set to perform at this year’s Yasalam After-Race Concerts comes after the official launch of Ethara, which saw the two events and entertainment powerhouses in Abu Dhabi Motorsports Management and Flash Entertainment integrate their activities and operations into one entity.
When Foo Fighters walk onto stage at Etihad Park following the conclusion of the final race of the longest ever Formula 1 season at Yas Marina Circuit, it will mark the first ever UAE performance for the 15-time Grammy award-winning band.
The 1995 release of Foo Fighters’ self-titled debut album kick-started the group’s steady ascent to its current status as one of the biggest draws on the worldwide stadium, arena and festival circuit.
With an award-winning legacy, tens of millions of records sold and iconic, world-renowned singles including “Everlong,” “Monkey Wrench,” “My Hero,” “Learn To Fly,” “All My Life,” “Times Like These,” “Best Of You,” “The Pretender,” “Walk,” “The Sky Is A Neighborhood,” “Shame Shame” and the new “Rescued,” Foo Fighters were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2021 to cap off an incredible journey in the industry.
On the eve of the release of its highly anticipated 11th album But Here We Are (out 2nd June), the group continues to charter into new territories, with their eyes now firmly set on performing in the UAE for the first time in November 2023.
As an RIAA platinum-certified and world-renowned music icon, Tiësto will kick off the #AbuDhabiGP weekend in style on Thursday 23rd November. Since the beginning of her meteoric rise with her debut hit “Sweet but Psycho”, Ava Max has carved her own pathway in global pop culture, with a multiplatinum chart-breaking career to date. With an unapologetic attitude and a jaw-dropping voice, the Albanian-American artist has quietly emerged as a modern pop powerhouse, with billions of streams, global sellout shows and a feature in Forbes’ ’30 Under 30’ list in 2021.
Following the recent release of her second full-length album, Diamonds & Dancefloors in 2022, the energetic star continues to make new ground in a promising career as she prepares to make her debut appearance in the Middle East at #AbuDhabiGP weekend.

The expansion of this year’s biggest sports and entertainment weekend matches the record-setting ticket demand. Just weeks after the official ticket launch took place, organisers announced that several Grandstands had sold out more than nine months before the F1 teams head to Abu Dhabi for the season finale.
To accommodate the increased fan interest, the new additions to the track will allow race goers to take in the action from unique locations, including a VIP perspective at Turn 2 after a fast-paced start to the race at Deck at Two featuring global culinary brands, Hakkasan, Nobu and Milos. Or, take in the party atmosphere inside a luxury chalet at Hill Top Clubhouse, with fans able to follow the cars heading toward the iconic North Hairpin while enjoying some of the region’s best dishes from The Maine.
Those who live for the drama and breakneck speeds can choose to take in the race from the new West Straight Grandstand, following the action at the end of the longest straight at Yas Marina Circuit as the cars fight for the racing line through Turns 6 and 7. Organisers have confirmed these world-class experiences are now on sale, with more details to come on what to expect at the newest vantage points at #AbuDhabiGP.
