Dubai-: As part of its Full Life campaign, Deliveroo UAE has joined Emirates Red Crescent’s ‘Ramadan: Continuous Giving’ campaign through its in-app roundup feature. Launched in August 2022 in the UAE, Deliveroo’s Full Life campaign is a pillar of its global Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) strategy. The campaign was designed to support local communities across Deliveroo’s markets and tackle food insecurities around the world. Through the in-app round-up feature available at checkout on the Deliveroo app, customers will be able to donate an amount of their choice to support the initiative.

From the first day of Ramadan, throughout the entire month, all funds raised through Deliveroo’s in-app round-up feature will be donated to Emirates Red Crescent to purchase food boxes dedicated to the Ramadan: Continuous Giving campaign. By design, the feature encourages frequent donations without customers having to switch to another donation page. Customers will be able to round up their bill or donate an amount of their choice at checkout when placing an order on the Deliveroo app.

As a leading authority which provides essential aid and relief within the UAE and worldwide, Emirates Red Crescent has played an essential role in Deliveroo’s Full Life campaign since its launch in 2022. Speaking about their partnership with Deliveroo, Mohammed Ahmad Al Yammahi of Emirates Red Crescent said, “The convenience of Deliveroo’s in-app round-up feature is a great opportunity for customers in the UAE to easily contribute to our ‘Ramadan: Continuous Giving’ campaign and help raise funds to provide greater care for vulnerable communities. We look forward to bringing the UAE community together to contribute to the initiative.”

Anis Harb, General Manager at Deliveroo Middle East said, “Since the launch of our Full Life Campaign in the UAE, we have seen an overwhelmingly positive response from the community. Through our long-term partnership with Emirates Red Crescent and our loyal customers across the UAE, we hope to continue making a positive impact in the lives of those in need.”

Since the launch of Full Life in 2022, Deliveroo has announced multiple projects under the campaign including participating in initiatives like ‘One Hand for Pakistan’ and ‘Bridges of Giving’. The award-winning delivery service also launched its in-app round-up feature, which conveniently allows customers to donate to licensed charitable organisations. Deliveroo is committed to introducing new initiatives throughout the year and beyond.

To participate in Emirates Red Crescent’s ‘Ramadan: Continuous Giving’ campaign, customers can simply round up their bill or donate an amount of their choice at checkout when placing an order on the Deliveroo app or webpage.
