BRIX Desserts by 3Fils has launched two new limited edition items to its menu for Ramadan and Eid al Fitr.
Dubai’s only dessert restaurant, BRIX has launched two new limited edition Ramadan-inspired a la carte items to its menu for guests to enjoy throughout Ramadan and Eid al Fitr at its location in Jumeirah Fishing Harbour, Dubai.
Created by experienced chocolatier and Head Pastry Chef Carmen Rueda Hernández and her team, the new desserts are perfect for those looking to satisfy their sweet tooth during Ramadan or enjoy an indulgent end to their iftar at home or at BRIX’s sister restaurant, UP by 3Fils, which is located directly next door.
New to the menu, ‘Layali’ which means ‘nights’ in Arabic, is a dessert inspired by the lively nights of Ramadan and the prominent flavours of food served during the holy month. Diners can expect to enjoy a selection of bites when ordering Layali, starting with a pistachio bite of pistachios, almonds, pastry cream and notes of orange. Also included is the ‘raspberry bombe’ – a white chocolate truffle shell with a filling of raspberry and elderflower-based gel, and the ‘banana passion coffee mousse’ with chocolate sponge and a crunchy layer of hazelnut, passion fruit and banana-based caramel.
This dessert is served with a beverage called ‘Vimto-La’, made up of alcohol-free Champagne, strawberry, saffron, rose and dates – all priced at AED 50 per portion for dessert and drink.
New to the menu and available for delivery is the ‘pistachio flan’ whole cake. This is a family-sized treat priced at AED 325 per cake and is made with a vanilla-flavoured flan sandwiched between a crunchy base of almond flakes, pistachio pralines, and white chocolate, topped with a layer of pistachio pralines.
