Launching a campaign “Mena wa Menkom” on Arab Orphan’s Day and in cooperation with the Charitable Society for Orphans Care in Makkah (Kahatain).

Jeddah-: Barnes signed a charitable initiative to support orphans within the framework of the “Mena wa Menkom” campaign on the Arab Orphan’s Day in cooperation with the Kahatain Charitable Association in Makkah Al-Mukarramah in the presence of the CEO of the company, Eng. Mohammed Al-Zain, and the Executive Director Human Capital, Mr. Sami Qutub, the initiative aims to create real opportunities that provide orphans with a bright future worthy of them, and help them become an influential element in society. The company is interested in social responsibility and active participation in charitable initiatives to support orphans, by providing job opportunities worthy of them and helping them improve their living lives.

The initiative which is carried out by Barnes in cooperation with the Kahatain Association includes training orphans in the profession of barista to enhance their skills in this field, which is of interest due to the growing coffee industry in the Kingdom, and this initiative contributes to developing their skills and supporting them in the community.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kahatain Association, Dr. Awad Al-Bishri, stated that the Arab Orphan Day aims to shed light on orphans and promote awareness of their rights, and stressed that Kahatain Association is keen to achieve financial sustainability through targeted and constructive programs to empower orphans and achieve well-being and a decent life for them, noting that this day reminds the Arab community that we must all join hands and cooperate to help them, praising the importance of the charitable initiative carried out by the Barnes brand, extending his thanks and appreciation for the interest in the orphan. And support them in building the future.

Arab countries celebrate the “Arab Orphan Day” in April of each year in order to honor and support orphans in the Arab world, work to improve their living conditions, and emphasize the role of society in supporting them and providing them with a safe and stable environment. In addition to encouraging the private sector to contribute to providing them with education and employment opportunities, enabling them to have a decent and stable life and achieve financial sustainability.
