For those planning an escape over Easter, small luxury island Milaidhoo Maldives has curated a specially themed itinerary dedicated to adults. The programme will run from 6th – 9th April 2023 and offer a variety of experiences for guests to craft their own truly personalised stay.

CULINARY AND BEVERAGE EXPERIENCES

During the festivities, Ocean Restaurant will feature a special bubbly breakfast, with an incredible buffet spread and tailored à la carte menu.

The Shoreline Grill will host a Good Friday Seafood Market on 7th April, boasting an abundant selection of seafood — all freshly prepared by the chefs in front of guests as they dine.

Guests can also join a special cupcake decorating workshop, or try their hand at crafting special cocktails under the guidance of Milaidhoo’s expert mixologist.

On Sunday, 9th April, the island will put on an Easter-themed Beach Buffet on the island’s pristine shores, with the picturesque Ba’theli by the Reef as a backdrop.

SERENITY SPA AND WELLNESS EXPERIENCES

The Serenity Spa team invites guests to join a series of wellness sessions created to re-energise, and will hold a range of morning yoga and aqua yoga experiences. A unique workshop where guests are taught to relieve stress and pain using Maldivian herbs and local healing techniques will also be held.

Each day of the Easter celebrations will focus on a different treatment at the spa, including a massage under the full moon to tension-releasing experiences, rebalancing and nutrient-dense treatments, and a romantic couples retreat treatment. During this period, guests can also book a specially discounted jet-lag-focused “Bio Rhythms Treatment” to restore their senses and reset their minds.

OTHER EXPERIENCES

The Milaidhoo Ocean Stories dive team will hold a unique Easter Egg Hunt with a twist – an underwater pursuit with special prizes for those who manage to track down the Easter Eggs hidden within the lagoon.

Last but not least, an entirely new type of Easter Egg decorating workshop will take place. Taking inspiration from a traditional local artform “Liyelaa”, also known as Maldivian lacquer work, guests are invited to create a specially painted easter egg unlike any other. Led by an experienced artist, guests can create unique works of art and take home their lacquered easter eggs as a memory and a story to share.
